Before NP Capital Advisors' Involvement:
PeaTos, a better-for-you snack food company focused on healthier alternatives to traditional junk food options, had been operating and growing successfully since 2011. The company had grown a cult-like following generating ~$6M in annual sales and had raised $20M in capital at very strong valuations. With the change in the capital markets environment in 2023, funding dried up and valuations plummeted. CPG entered a challenging period with limited resources to thrive.
After NP Capital Advisors' Involvement:
PeaTos was able to quickly reevaluate its business and make dramatic changes to its cap table, balance sheet, and business operations in a successful out-of-court process, and subsequently raise new capital with its founder in charge of the entire process both before and after the restructuring.
Recapitalized the business:

Eliminated and restructured $4.2M of outstanding debt and AP liabilities

Simplified the cap table from three classes of debt and two classes of equity and consolidated all existing debt and equity investors into one new share class
