Brady Onishi has more than twenty years of experience as a CFO and advisor to CEOs, senior executives, and owners of privately held and public companies. As his experience as a CFO encompasses working with companies from $5 million to over $1 billion in revenues, Brady can provide insights and guidance to companies throughout all parts of their life cycles. Brady’s industry experience includes consumer products, food, media & entertainment, retail, hospitality, engineering & construction, software, and manufacturing and distribution.
Brady is a seasoned financial strategist and transformative leader with a proven track record of driving company success as well as revitalizing struggling businesses. Throughout his career, Brady has been able to identify inefficiencies, streamline processes, and implement targeted solutions to enhance company performance. Brady’s experience as a CFO extends to virtually every aspect of a business's financial and operational needs. In addition to turnarounds, building, rebuilding, and managing financial teams of all sizes and complexity, he has also had direct management responsibility for operations, HR, IT, credit & collections, contracts and sales.
Prior to becoming a CFO, Brady held several key operational and financial roles at companies such as Unified Grocers (now UNFI), Deluxe Entertainment, Disney, and Warner Bros. Brady is one of a handful of CFOs who has worked in public accounting as well as investment banking. He began his career at Deloitte & Touche and he was also an M&A banker at Houlihan Lokey, a leading middle market investment bank and restructuring firm.
Brady’s formal education includes an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, a MAcc from The University of Southern California Leventhal School of Accounting and a BS from The University of Southern California Marshall School of Business.
